Since I have been going to Shelby Hearing, it has been a life changing experience.  From my first visit, I have always felt welcome and received the greatest care.  Dr. Young always takes the time to explain everything in a way that you understand and knows exactly what your needs are.  She changed my life in getting me the hearing aids I needed so I could feel comfortable being around people.  The Staff is wonderful!  I can’t say enough good things about them.  I highly recommend Shelby Hearing if you are ever in a situation that you need this type of service.  I would give them 10 stars if I could. After having difficulty with the hearing aids I had which quit working for the second time in less than 6 months,  I had went to a ENT in Morganton that recommended a cochlear implant. Not being that willing to have surgery, Shelby Hearing Center was recommended by several people,  I came and Dr. Padgett gave me a comprehensive hearing testing we agreed to place hearing aids in both ears. I  am  hearing better now  with these aids than the previous 3 sets I had before.  Thanks Dr. Padgett for your dillingence in finding the right aids for my hearing problems!???? December 9, 2024 It was time for another hearing test at Shelby Hearing Center yesterday. Dr. Padgett administered the test and discovered that my hearing had changed considerably. So having this information,  Karen was able to make the appropriate adjustments on my hearing aids, and I walked out of their office hearing better than I had in the past several months. These folks really know how to take care of your hearing needs, very professional people.  The staff at the front office also really do a great job in scheduling and giving you a warm and friendly smile,  making you feel like you are special.
